adsilent 2 app: New metronome presets & Local On/Off
A new version of the adsilent 2 app for iOS and Android is now available for download in the respective app stores. The update introduces practical features for metronome use and MIDI integration and prepares the iOS app for iOS 26.
In the metronome section of the app, you now find presets for commonly used time signatures and tempo settings. From predefined combinations of time signatures (e.g. 4/4, 3/4, 2/4) and tempo, players can select the desired setup with a single tap, without having to adjust time signature and BPM every time. The presets are accessible directly in the metronome view, making them ideal for lessons, rehearsals, and practice sessions with frequently changing pieces.
Another new feature is the Local On/Off option in the settings (shown as “Local Control” in the app). When Local is set to “Off”, the system ignores all keys and pedals played on the piano itself and only plays back MIDI data received via the MIDI IN input. This is particularly useful in setups where adsilent 2 is used as a pure sound module controlled from an external sequencer, computer, or workstation, without triggering the instrument from local playing.
With the new version, the adsilent 2 app has also been technically updated and optimized for iOS 26. Users of the latest iPhone and iPad models can continue to control their adsilent 2 system reliably via Bluetooth and conveniently access all functions – from sound settings to metronome and recording.
The updated adsilent 2 app is now available free of charge in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. The update can be installed over the existing version; all previous settings and recordings on the adsilent 2 system remain unchanged.
